This Govee Light Track is an aluminum mounting system designed to hide wires, keep lights aligned, and create a cleaner installation for Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights.
Available for Govee 2, Govee Elite, and Govee Pro models, each version is designed around the dimensions and spacing of the corresponding lighting system to ensure a proper fit and professional-looking result.
Sizing Note – Govee 2 / Elite
Each aluminum piece is 31.5" (80cm) long. Total track length is slightly shorter than the Govee kit length:
• 50 ft kit → 18 pieces ≈ 47.25 ft
• 100 ft kit → 36 pieces ≈ 94.50 ft
• 150 ft kit → 54 pieces ≈ 141.75 ft
You’ll still have the correct number of mounting holes for every light in your selected Govee kit.

Govee Pro uses larger light spacing and 38.58" (98cm) track sections.
• 100 ft kit → 30 pieces ≈ 96.45 ft

How to Install Govee Light Track in an Afternoon
With pre-drilled holes and simple screw mounting, most installs take just a few hours. No adhesives. No clips. Just clean alignment from corner to corner.
Step 1
Create a Guide Piece
Cut a 3–4 inch piece from a back channel. Use it to align and mark your install path so everything stays clean and consistent.
Step 2
Mark a Straight Line
Use chalk and the guide piece to trace a straight path along your eaves or fascia to avoid crooked or uneven mounting.
Step 3
Mount the Back Channel
Start with the back piece you cut. Then install the remaining track sections end-to-end. Use mounting holes or pre-drill if needed for clean installation of Govee light track.
Step 4
Load the LEDs
Insert Govee light heads into the track, one at a time. Align each light with the holes so they sit clean and evenly spaced.
Step 5
Snap Into Place
Push the front channel with LEDs into the mounted back piece until it clicks. This locks the aluminum track for Govee lights securely in place.
Bonus Tip
Trim & Finish as You Go
Cut track sections as needed to fit corners, gables, or tight overhangs. For angle cuts during your Govee track install, a miter saw is best, but tin snips will work too.

Verified ownerI would suggest that if this your first time, buy some cheap aluminum channel and learn to cut angles on it before you start. I messed mine up because of lack of experience so the angles aren't looking too great. I used a 36t hacksaw blade which was a nightmare. I don't have a miter saw but I think a Dremel would have worked better. I'm still trying to figure out how to cover these angled gaps. Wish there was a cap I could buy to cover them. It's better than having the wires exposed though and the straight channels look good. It's just the angles that make me wish I practiced more.
